Sultan Al Nayadi, an Emirati astronaut based at the International Space Station at the moment, has released a video of Biporjoy from space.

He claimed that the ISS could help experts on Earth monitor the weather.

Cyclone Biparjoy is currently 350 km south of Karachi and 370 km from Thatta.

The winds around the storm are 140 to 150 km/h, with some gusts reaching 170 km/h.

The storm is expected to hit Katy by Thursday.
